Participate in the delivery of quality software through effective design and peer reviewing of code, unit testing Involve in the full system life cycle and is responsible for design, code, test, implement, maintain and support application software that is delivered within time and cost budget. Maintain day to day system support and development activities of systems and technologies. Obtain requirements from Internal/External Clients and provide solutions. Provide technical support to colleagues and clients on technical aspects of projects. Deliver solutions as required and requested, according to agreed timeline, ensuring solutions conform to company standards and SOPs. Develop and implement enhancements, revisions to meet the needs of the client. Develop and maintain a high level of Sample Manager/LIMS product knowledge expertise, including new product development, revisions and releases. Integrate instruments with Sample Manger/ LIMS products. Support interfaces with external applications. This role is also responsible for designing integration to other client information systems and laboratory equipment, user training and problem solving and support. This role will include supporting the Labvantage LIMS. Very good oral and written communication skills. Requires strong analytical and communication skills as well as sound judgment and the ability to work effectively with Business Analysts, Software Developers, and customers. System and Application Monitoring: NetIQ, TOAD, Oracle, development of automated monitoring and support processes and procedures. Ğxperience or training with Lab Vantage strongly preferred. Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems and laboratory operations.
